Emanuel Sharp

Born in Tel Aviv to a basketball family, Emanuel Sharp is the son of Maccabi Tel Aviv great Derrick Sharp and University of Toronto Hall of Famer Justine Ellison. A Florida prep scoring standout, he spent four seasons at Houston, closing as a senior with 15.5 points, 3.0 rebounds and 1.7 assists on 41.3% shooting, 37.2% from three and a Big 12-leading 89.1% at the free-throw line. He left as Houston's career three-point record holder with 309 makes and started for the 2025 national runner-up. A high-volume shooter and tough, high-IQ defender, he is undersized with a short wingspan that limits defensive versatility, and he creates more as a scorer than a passer. Drafted 45th overall by Sacramento, he signed a three-year standard deal with the first two years guaranteed, an unusual roster commitment for a pick that often yields two-way contracts, projecting as a bench shooting specialist.
