Jason Kidd is one of the greatest point guards in NBA history and the defining player of the New Jersey Nets' golden era. Selected second overall in 1994, Kidd built his legend through extraordinary passing vision, elite defensive intensity, and the ability to make every player around him dramatically better. After arriving via trade from Phoenix in 2001, Kidd immediately transformed the Nets from a losing franchise into a back-to-back NBA Finals team in 2002 and 2003. His ability to orchestrate an offense, generate steals, and control the pace of a game at both ends set the standard for the modern two-way point guard. Kidd's Hall of Fame career includes 12 All-Star selections, 5 All-Defensive First Team honors, and a 2011 NBA Championship with Dallas. He remains the greatest player in Nets franchise history.
