Grant has averaged 13.5 points across 776 games and twelve seasons for five teams — Philadelphia, Oklahoma City, Denver, Detroit and Portland. His 2025-26 was the efficient version: 18.6 points and 2.4 threes a night on a career-high .608 true shooting, with his field-goal percentage jumping from 37.3 to 45.3 percent. The problem is the denominator. He appeared in 57 games, the third straight season and the fifth of his last six below 60. The scoring has never been the question with him, and availability has been the answer to most of the others. A player who scores 18 a game for 57 games is worth less than the per-game line implies, and contracts rarely price that correctly.

Defensive Game
Elite defensive versatility — one of the better wing defenders in the NBA at his peak. Can guard positions 1 through 5 in smaller lineups. His defensive IQ elevates the entire Portland scheme.
Intangibles
Veteran savvy from a decade in the NBA across multiple playoff contenders. Understands how to read situations, when to attack, and how to model professional behavior for younger teammates.

Did You Know?
Jerami Grant is the son of Harvey Grant, who played 11 seasons in the NBA, and the nephew of Horace Grant, a four-time NBA champion — making him part of one of the most accomplished basketball families in American sports history
His brothers Jerian and Jerai both played professional basketball, making the Grant family one of the only families in history with three brothers who all played in the NBA or professional leagues
Grant was a second-round pick who never gave up on his development, spending six seasons as a role player before his 22-point breakout season in Detroit shocked the entire league
He is known in NBA locker rooms for his quiet professionalism and unwavering commitment to craft — habits he credits to growing up watching his father compete at the highest level
