Spencer Jones

Spencer Jones spent five years at Stanford turning himself into a prototype 3-and-D wing — the school's all-time leader in games played and made threes, a 39-percent shooter with the length to defend up a position. Undrafted in 2024, he signed a Denver two-way and mostly watched as a rookie. The 2025-26 season was the leap: when Aaron Gordon and Christian Braun hit the injury report in December, Jones stepped into the starting five next to Nikola Jokic, dropped a career-high 28 on Dallas, and started 37 of 64 games at 5.5 points and 3.3 boards. Denver rewarded the trust by converting him off the two-way to a standard deal in February. The tell isn't the scoring — it's the playoff efficiency, near 70 percent from three in limited minutes: a low-usage wing who supplies the two things a Jokic team craves, spacing and defense.
