Mann was the 18th pick in 2021 out of Florida, one of four players Oklahoma City drafted that night. He spent two and a half seasons with the Thunder before going to Charlotte in the February 2024 Gordon Hayward trade. After re-signing for three years and $24 million in 2025, he opened the season scoring 14.1 points a game off the bench, until a lower back injury ended his year in November. He never regained that role, averaging 5.5 points over 53 games in 2025-26, and in August 2026 Charlotte sent him to Washington in a five-team trade that brought back Dennis Schröder.
