The full-season line (10.3 points, 2.9 boards, 2.0 assists on 43.9% shooting across 74 games) undersells that trajectory. The Illinois product and former Big Ten Sixth Man of the Year plays a smooth, positional-size wing game — he can handle, pass and score in stretches rather than living off one skill. Back-to-back 30-point nights in April, a first for a Wizards rookie since Calbert Cheaney in 1994, were the loudest sign the runway is paying off.
