Zach Edey

Edey was twice the AP national player of the year at Purdue and leaves as the programme's all-time leading scorer with 2,516 points, averaging 18.2 points and 9.6 rebounds on 62.1 percent shooting across 138 college games. Memphis took him ninth in 2024. Ankle surgery delayed his 2025-26 debut until November, and when he played he averaged 13.6 points and 11.1 rebounds on 63.3 percent shooting. The question that followed him out of college was whether his size would translate against professional athletes; the rebounding rate suggests the answer is yes, provided he can stay on the floor — which the ankle has already made the central question of his young career.
